What We Believe

WE BELIEVE in the one true and living God who exists as
Father-Our Creator, Jesus-Our Savior, and Holy Spirit-Our
Comforter. (John 1:1-2, 14; John 10:30)
WE BELIEVE in His virgin birth, sinless life, powerful
miracles, and sacrificial death, and His bodily resurrection. (I
Corinthians 15:3-4)
WE BELIEVE that Christ's shed blood took the penalty of sin
and gave us the right to eternal life. Christ's body took all our
sicknesses & diseases and that by His stripes we are healed.
(John 1:29; Isaiah 53:5)
WE BELIEVE all scripture is inspired by God and is profitable
for teaching, reproof, correction, for training in righteousness.
(2 Timothy 3:16)
WE BELIEVE that every Christian has been given a measure
of faith by God, which is how we are justified, what we live by,
how we believe in Him, how we please Him and how we receive
from Him. (Romans 1:17; 5:1; 12:3)
WE BELIEVE Christians can be filled with the Holy Spirit who
then dwells within us, leads, helps, guides, and seals us in
Christ. (Ephesians 1:13)
WE BELIEVE that the Christian's enemy is not that of flesh
and blood but Satan and his demonic spirits which aim to steal,
kill and destroy God's people and vision. His work will end
and he will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone with
the beast and false prophets; and tormented day and night
forever and ever. (2 Corinthians 10:4; Revelation 20:10)
WE BELIEVE that Christians have the benefit of abundant
life on earth - being whole and complete through God. (John
10:10)
WE BELIEVE that water baptism does save us from sin and is
not, as some teach, just an outward sign of an inward
relationship with God. We are no longer slaves to sin. Holy
Communion is an ordinance that reminds us that His blood
offers forgiveness for sin and that His body was broken for our
healing. (Acts 2:38; Colossians 2:12)
WE BELIEVE that God works in the earth through the Body
of Christ and that the Body of Christ is empowered by His
Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)
WE BELIEVE the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven
with a shout, the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of
God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. We who are alive
and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
WE BELIEVE in the second coming of our Lord with His
saints and our rule upon the earth and the ultimate victory of
the eternal Kingdom of God. (Revelation 21:1-4)
