Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Notice of Cancellations and Rescheduling must be made in writing or by email.

The Reservation and Ceremony Preparation Fee is non-refundable should you cancel
your wedding.  In addition, should you cancel or reschedule within 14 days of the reserved
wedding date, you will be responsible for the remaining fee for the Performance of the Wedding
Ceremony Fee.  

If you reschedule your wedding prior to 14 days before the reserved wedding date, and the new
wedding date is available to Ric Justiss, you will not be required to pay another Reservation and
Ceremony Fee, but only the Performance of the Wedding Ceremony Fee  at the time of the newly
scheduled wedding.

These cancellation fees are not a penalty but rather shall be considered compensation to Officiant
for loss of other business opportunities. (Having made the date unavailable by booking, then
canceling within the specified time periods)

An upfront fee is required to reserve Ric Justiss for your wedding date. This fee covers in person
consultations if requested, phone calls and emails to prepare your wedding ceremony and to
reserve your date and time.   Using the links above, please make payment to reserve your date.  
This payment is non-refundable should you cancel.  Please know that until the Reservation
and Ceremony Preparation fee is received, I am not booked as your minister. Payment of the
Reservation and Ceremony Preparation Fee confirms your acceptance of the Terms and
Conditions set forth on this page.

For any level of service, great or small, please contact me, Ric
Justiss.  I do not preach or lecture on religion uninvited.  My
manner with people is simply caring, calming and comforting.  
I will remain focused on assisting by providing as much
service, advice or guidance as desired.
I will charge an additional $50 per half hour if I have to wait more than 30 minutes past the
scheduled starting time of any ceremony.  My ability to wait more than 30 minutes will be solely at
my discretion.  I may waive the late charge, at my discretion.  No refund will be given if I am not
able to perform the ceremony because of delays within the stipulated time period.
Release; Consent To Use Likeness,: The bride and groom understands, agrees and consents to release and
indemnify thepreacherman.com and Ric Justiss (including their officers, directors, employees and
subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from and against any and all liability, claims, damages,
and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the use of the bride and
groom's likeness, and that no agents have made any representation, warranty or guaranty to said parties,
and that the use of the bride and groom's  likeness is for advertising purposes only and is granted to Ric
Justiss without compensation. This consent may be withdrawn at any time given notice in writing and
allowing considerable time for withdrawal of any likeness from advertising.  
The Officiant will leave ample time to allow for the unforeseen, and will do everything possible to
accommodate extenuating circumstances. In the event the scheduled Officiant is prohibited from
officiating at the Client’s ceremony as planned due to hospitalization, auto accident, and/or transportation
breakdown/disruption or other unforeseen incapacitation or cause of non-arrival on the day of the
ceremony, thepreacherman.com, Ric Justiss, and their agents shall NOT be held liable for any
compensation or damages due to non-performance of any ceremony/function resulting from such
incapacitation, non-arrival, late arrival, errors or omissions of any type.

If for ANY reason (by no fault of the officiant) the ceremony starts 30 minutes or more after it is scheduled,
the Officiant may, at his/her option perform a very short  ceremony in place of the agreed-upon ceremony.
Neither thepreacherman.com nor Ric Justiss shall be held liable for any costs of the ceremony or
reception, or damages of any kind. If the Client wishes to void this clause and reserve the Officiant’s
services for the entire day, there will be an additional $500 charge, and this must be agreed upon
according to the availability of the Officiant.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Ric Justiss and the
CLIENT. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements (including verbal) between the parties. The
only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. If the parties want
to waive one provision of this agreement, that does not mean that any other provision is also waived. The
party against whom a waiver is sought to be effective must have signed a waiver in writing.

I reserve the right to refuse any request for a reservation and I further reserve the right to refuse
to perform any service that I am not comfortable with, even though a reservation was accepted.  
If a wedding service that has been reserved is not performed, then a refund shall be due in the
same form received.
If you would like to reserve my services for the entire day, this must be agreed to in advance,
and will be an additional $500 charge.  Having exclusive booking rights gives couples the peace
of mind that I have no other commitments on that day, especially if you are concerned that your
ceremony may not start on time.  This could also be time allowed for rehearsal and/or pictures.  
Time limit of exclusivity is 5 hours for me to be at your location.

Minister for Ceremony only -$275;   
$100 Retainer / Reservation & Ceremony Preparation Fee ----- Balance of $175 due at time of ceremony. (Plus travel fees, if any)

Minister for Ceremony and Rehearsal -$375;  
$150 Retainer / Reservation & Ceremony Preparation Fee ----- Balance of $225 due at time of ceremony.  (Plus travel fees, if any)

This ceremony performed at my house, few guests allowed.

My services to a bride and groom consist of one or more of the following events:

A Planning Session.  No charge with Classic Ceremony.  This hour long planning session at my
home, will show you everything I do and how I do it and allow us a chance to get to know one
another.  Here we can discuss all of the ideas you have and items you would like to
incorporate into your ceremony.  During  this time you will share with me how you envision
your ceremony and I will advise you on the best ways of putting that together.

Marriage Counseling:  Here the focus is the upcoming marriage and preparing you two for a
life together that will be the greatest blessing in your life.

A Rehearsal Session.  Typically an hour , your rehearsal session will have you and your bridal
party completely prepared for your wedding performance.

A Wedding Ceremony.  Your wedding ceremony, carefully planned through the events of your
choosing and flawlessly performed.

Some couples may not require all four services while others may require additional assistance.
 

Payment Terms
It is customary to expect to pay a sum worthy of the event, and to include coverage of out of the
ordinary expenses, if there are any.

I accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.
Please no checks.  Payments can be paid online at this site.

I must be notified immediately if you have a change of plans, and availability will be on a first
come, first served basis.
Prices quoted may be adjusted depending on amount of time involved, date and location of
service.  These fees have been  calculated based on estimated time involved in preparation for
event, consultations, local travel, attendance and level of participation at event.  Once I know all
of the details of your wedding, I will be able to give you an exact quote. Prices are subject to
change, and any such price changes will not affect the price agreed to at the time of the
booking of your wedding ceremony.
