Classic Ceremony
I do and how I do it and allow us a chance to get to know one another. Here we can discuss all of the ideas you have and items you would like to incorporate into your ceremony. During this time you will share with me how you envision your ceremony and I will advise you on the best ways of putting that together. $250 $350 ____________________________________________________________________ $100 deposit. Short & Sweet Ceremony These are small, fun, and very comfortable affairs. This is similar to going to the justice of the peace, only better. This ceremony is a small intimate ceremony - meaningful and personal. Elopements too! $150 at Minister's home only (at Minister's home only / few guests) Times and Availability are subject to change. |
| PRICES Prices quoted may be adjusted depending on amount of time involved, date and location of service. These fees have been calculated based on estimated time involved in preparation for event, consultations, local travel, attendance and level of participation at event. Once I know all of the details of your wedding, I will be able to give you an exact quote. Prices are subject to change, and any such price changes will not affect the price agreed to at the time of the booking of your wedding ceremony. PAYMENT Please no checks. Payments can be paid online at this site or cash in person. Payments made are non-refundable should you cancel. RESERVATION Once I receive your deposit and your reservation form, your booking will be complete and I will calendar and reserve your date and time for you. Availability will be on a first come, first served basis. Completion and submission of the reservation form acknowledges your acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined herein. Please know that until the reservation form and deposit is received, I am not booked as your Minister. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING Should you cancel within 14 days of the reserved wedding date, you will be responsible for the remaining balance. This cancellation fee is not a penalty but rather shall be considered compensation to Officiant for loss of other business opportunities, having made that date unavailable to others by your booking. Should you cancel prior to 14 days of the reserved wedding date, and would like to schedule a new date and the new wedding date is available to Ric Justiss, you will not be required to pay another deposit. All money paid is non-refundable should you cancel your wedding. Notice of cancellations and rescheduling must be made in writing or by email. DEPOSIT A deposit is required to reserve Ric Justiss for your wedding date. This fee covers in person consultations if requested, phone calls and emails to prepare your wedding ceremony and to reserve your date and time. REFUSAL I reserve the right to refuse any request for a reservation and I further reserve the right to refuse to perform any service I am not comfortable with, even though a reservation was accepted. It is up to you to make sure I am informed and made aware of any particulars of the ceremony that I or any traditional Minister might or could find objectionable. My right to refuse to perform a ceremony could be due to objectionable content as well as safety concerns. LATE FEES I expect ceremonies to start on time. My ability to wait more than 30 minutes past the scheduled starting time of any ceremony will be solely at my discretion. There is a $50 late fee for each half hour I have to wait for the ceremony to start. I may waive the late charge at my discretion. Often I have several weddings booked back to back and have a schedule to keep. I reserve the right to perform a shorter ceremony than planned if necessary to maintain my schedule for that day. No refund will be given or should it be expected if I am not able to perform the ceremony because of delays within the stipulated time period. EXCLUSIVE BOOKING RIGHTS If you would like to reserve my services for the entire day, this must be agreed to in advance and at an agreed price. Having exclusive booking rights gives couples the peace of mind that I have no other commitments on that day, especially if you are concerned that your ceremony will be time consuming or be quite late. RELEASE AND CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS The bride and groom understands, agrees and consents to release and indemnify thepreacherman.com and Ric Justiss (including officers, directors, employees, subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies) from and against any and all liability, claims, damages, and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the use of the bride and groom's likeness or picture. The use of any picture from the wedding or rehearsal is granted to Ric Justiss without compensation. This consent may be withdrawn at any time given notice in writing and allowing appropriate time for withdrawal of any likeness from inclusion in advertising or being posted on a website. INDEMNIFICATION Ric Justiss or, any other officiating, will allow ample time for the unforeseen and will do everything possible to accommodate extenuating circumstances. In the event the scheduled Officiant is prohibited from officiating at the client's ceremony as planned due to hospitalization, auto accident, and/or transportation breakdown/disruption or other unforeseen incapacitation or cause of non-arrival on the day of the ceremony, thepreacherman.com, Ric Justiss and their agents shall NOT be held liable for any compensation or damages due to non-performance of any ceremony/function resulting from any such incapacitation, non-arrival, late arrival, errors or omissions of any type. If for ANY reason, by no fault of the officiant, the ceremony starts 30 minutes or more after it is scheduled, the Officiant may, at his/her option perform a shorter ceremony in place of the agreed-upon ceremony. Neither thepreacherman.com nor Ric Justiss shall be held liable for any costs of the ceremony or reception, or damages of any kind. If the client wishes to void this clause and reserve the Officiant's services for the entire day, this will be agreed to prior of the wedding day and according to the availability of the Officiant. ENTIRE AGREEMENT This agreement contains the entire understanding between Ric Justiss and the client. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements (including verbal) between the parties. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. If the parties want to waive one provision of this agreement, that does not mean that any other provision is also waived. |
