| Premarital Counseling & Marriage Coaching One two-hour Session In addition to the complete 6 session course, we also offer the single two-hour session in which we have you complete the 60 question Marriage Success Index, with questions related to the following: The Marriage Commitment Individual Personality Strengths Expectations Sex Values, Attitudes and Beliefs Spiritual We will go over your answers and discuss the important issues designed to stimulate discussion and growth in areas perhaps not discussed between you prior. Using an in-depth questionnaire, we will help you identify the strengths each of you bring to the marriage and areas where you can work together to grow as individuals and as a couple. Each of you will answer the same questionnaire. This should be done privately. You must reach down and be as honest as you can. Do not share your answers with each other. Deliver your completed questionnaire to us, without showing it to each other and we will all sit down and go over your answers. You will find we are able to quickly get to the heart of your concerns, and you will be receiving insightful feedback and suggestions from us. Our responses will contain suggestions and recommendations to help you clarify, resolve or improve the situation under discussion. These questionnaires are not tests. There are no right or wrong answers. Each individual will answer questions touching on all aspects of married life. Those answers will be reviewed and a strategy for overcoming stumbling blocks will be developed to build a more vital and satisfying relationship. We also are always glad to discuss any specific issues you would like help with if it is something not covered it this counseling course. |
