My House of Love by Kristi Day, Illinois If you looked inside my heart Here is what you'd see, A house of many rooms Each full with love for thee. If you opened up a door And took a look inside, You might find yourself amazed At what I left outside. I swept out all the pain And the cobwebs of my past, I opened all the windows So the sun shines in at last. No more the darkened shadows That hid behind each door, No more the angry demons They're not welcome any more. Instead when you look inside I want for you to see, A place of joy and happiness And that brand new shiny key. I changed the locks on my heart So only you can come on in, I've made my heart a happy place Where our new love can begin. Each room within my heart Has been swept out clean you see, No more broken hearts or lives I got rid of that debris. Now each room within my heart Is fresh and shining clean, Where only love is allowed So peaceful and serene. So come on in to my heart Throw the windows open wide, For in each room is so much love I can't hold it all inside. So each day I let a little out Where it finds its way to you, So you will know how much I care And of my love so true. And just so you'll always know When love leads you home to me, Each room within my heart Will be filled with love; eternally

: Vince Gill: Love sure is something No one can explain It can bring you such joy It can bring you pain And with every motion Love puts us through There is nothing you can say When Love finds you. Love is the power That makes your heart beat It can make you move mountains It can make you drop to your knees When it finally hits you You won’t know what to do There is nothing you can say When love finds you. Give it all you can give it When your love comes around If you put your heart in it It won’t let you down You find out it’s true Maybe someday, when love finds you
We learn what True Love is like with the words from I Corinthians 13:4-8a. I have chosen this classic reading today for our scripture reading. "Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
And I Love Her The Beatles I give her all my love That's all I do And if you saw my love You'd love her too I love her She gives me everything And tenderly The kiss my lover brings She brings to me And I love her A love like ours Could never die As long as I Have you near me Bright are the stars that shine Dark is the sky I know this love of mine will never die And I love her
Psalms 128:1-6 "Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Lo, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. The LORD bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life! May you see your children's children! Peace be upon Israel!"
A Wedding Reading from : The Christian Scriptures Matthew Chap.6 verses 25-34 Therefore I bid you put away anxious thoughts about food and drink to keep you alive, and clothes to cover your body. Surely life is more that food, the body more than clothes. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store in barns, yet your heavenly father feeds them. You are worth more than the birds! Is there a person among you who by anxious thought can add a foot to his height? And why be anxious about clothes? consider how the lilies grow in the fields; they do not work, they do not spin, and yet, I tell you, Solomon in all his splendor was not attired as one of these. But if that is how God clothes the grass in the fields, which is there today, and tomorrow is thrown on the stove, will He not all the more clothe you? How little faith you have!...Set your mind on God's Kingdom and His justice before everything else, and all the rest will come to you as well. So do not be anxious about tomorrow; tomorrow will look after itself. Each day has troubles enough of its own.
MY LOVE ~ Linda Lee Elrod ~ When I met you, I had no idea how much my life was about to be changed... but then, how could I have known? A love like ours happens once in a lifetime. You were a miracle to me, the one who was everything I had ever dreamed of, the one I thought existed only in my imagination. And when you came into my life, I realized that what I had always thought was happiness couldn't compare to the joy loving you brought me. You are a part of everything I think and do and feel, and with you by my side, I believe that anything is possible. (this day) gives me a chance to thank you for the miracle of you... you are, and always will be, the love of my life.
LOVE ~ By Roy Croft ~ I love you, Not only for what you are, But for what I am When I am with you. I love you, Not only for what You have made of yourself, But for what You are making of me. I love you For the part of me That you bring out; I love you For putting your hand Into my heaped-up heart And passing over All the foolish, weak things That you can't help Dimly seeing there, And for drawing out Into the light All the beautiful belongings That no one else had looked Quite far enough to find. I love you because you Are helping me to make Of the lumber of my life Not a tavern But a temple; Out of the works Of my every day Not a reproach But a song. I love you Because you have done More than any creed Could have done To make me good, And more than any fate To make me happy. You have done it Without a touch, Without a word, Without a sign. You have done it By being yourself. |

WHAT IS LOVE? ~ Author Unknown ~ Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and romance in the movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favourite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in even the most unlikely of places. And this radiance that never fades, this mysterious and magical joy, is the greatest treasure of all - one known only by those who love. |
Looking for Your Face “From the beginning of my life I have been looking for your face, but today I have seen it. Today I have seen the charm, the beauty, the unfathomable grace of the face that I was looking for. Today I have found you, and those who laughed and scorned me yesterday are sorry that they were not looking as I did. I am bewildered by the magnificence of your beauty, and wish to see you with a hundred eyes. My heart has burned with passion and has searched forever for this wondrous beauty that I now behold. I am ashamed to call this love human, and afraid of God to call it divine. Your fragrant breath, like the morning breeze, has come to the stillness of the garden. You have breathed new life into me. I have become your sunshine, and also your shadow. My soul is screaming in ecstasy. Every fiber of my being is in love with you. Your splendor has lit a fire in my heart, and you have made radiant for me the earth and sky. My arrow of love has arrived at the target. I am in the house of mercy, and my heart is a place of prayer.”
the wedding hymn by sidney lanier Thou God, whose high, eternal Love Is the only blue sky of our life, Clear all the Heaven that bends above The life-road of this man and wife. May these two lives be but one note In the worlds strange-sounding harmony, Whose sacred music ever shall float Through every discord up to Thee. As when from separate stars two Beams Unite to form one tender ray: As when two sweet but shadowy dreams Explain each other in the day: So may these two dear hearts one light Emit, and each interpret each. Let an angel come and dwell to-night In this dear double-heart, and teach!
